What is a segment question?
Segment cards are a question type to ask about the target group in the survey. Answers are reported where results for segments
are shown and answers can be filtered with a segment filter.
Examples of questions:
Who are you visiting the website as now?
Are you a customer of ours?
Did you visit us as a private individual or in a business context?
How old are you?
How often do you use the website?
Examples of results and analysis using segment questions.

Compare whether some audiences are more successful at the same task.

Multiple surveys
You can see results for one target group based on responses from many surveys.
How to create template and segment questions
Create template
Segment questions require that a template is created first. This template is then selected when the question is created in the survey.
๐ To create segments you have to be an Admin or in a team with access to segments.
Two steps to add segment questions to a survey
Create a template if it does not already exist (Segment group)
Segments > New segment group > Fill in > Save
Add segment card to the survey, select the template (Segment card)
Survey > Add card > Select segment
Enter question in heading.
Choose template to retrieve the answer options
Lock "Other" If Other exists, it should be locked at the bottom, with "pin position"
Example: University of Agder
We want to ask this question:
Who are you visiting the website as now?
Choose what suits you best
Employee at UiA
I am a student now
I want to become a student next year
Current or potential business partner
