If unwanted information is submitted as part of your free text response, this is easy to mask. The purpose is to anonymize the part of the answer that contains personal data, but keep the rest.
The text is replaced with *** and no longer exists. It will be permanently overwritten and cannot be restored. The text is of course also masked in any exports.
This is how you do it:
Open the drawer that shows the answer string > select the text > select Redact selection.
If the text was also a keyword, this answer will disappear from any search result after the word is masked.
