This list provides an overview of functionality that makes privacy easy to manage in the platform.
Avoid sending personal information in the survey
Remove free text fields
Surveys can also be set up without free text fields, with only predefined response options. This makes it impossible to submit personal information.
Add request
You can add a reminder not to enter personal information in the survey.
Block numbers and email
Settings can be turned on in the survey that block the submission of the following types of personal information: social security number, date of birth, telephone number, e-mail. If a user enters such information, it will be blocked and an error message will show "Personal info not allowed". Skyra will explore further possibilities to recognize if text contains personal information and block this in free text.
Deletion in Dashboard
If personal information has been submitted as part of a response, there are several ways to find and delete it.
Search for personal info
Search fields make it easy to search large amounts of responses to check if they contain unwanted words. You can search both responses from one survey or across multiple surveys.
Tips
Go to Responses in the menu to be able to search across multiple surveys.
Search for indicators of personal info, e.g. numbers, @, mvh etc.
This makes it easy to do periodic checks of all collected responses. Searching across surveys is unique to Skyra as a result of our data structure. Most tools only allow you to view or search responses for one survey at a time.
Mask text
If a user submits unwanted information as part of their free text response, this is easy to mask. The purpose is to anonymize the part of the answer that contains personal data, but keep the rest. The text is replaced with asterisks (***) and no longer exists. Read more
Delete reply
Skyra supports the deletion of the entire answer thread / all answers given by a respondent.
Flag answers with Label
If you are unsure whether a survey response should be retained or deleted, it can be flagged with Label, making it easy to find and delete at a later review.
Contact list: Reminder of deletion
Skyra makes it easy to manage contact lists for user testing. Via the survey, you can invite to user testing, with active consent and a link to the privacy policy. The data subjects are stored in a contact list. In order for the data not to be stored longer than necessary, Skyra has notification after 365 days to make deletion easy. This period can also be changed via their settings.
Access management
Roles and rights for the customer's user accounts Skyra is a platform where the customer can log in. To restrict who has access to different surveys, answers and settings, the customer can set access levels in the following ways.
Member list
The member list in the Skyra account shows everyone who has access to the account and what role they have been given. The customer decides who should have access and whether Skyra employees should have access or not. Go to Settings > Members
User role
A user can be set as view/admin. Admin has access to invite new users and change access/role. Roles can be changed in the member list.
Teams
Teams make it easy to manage many users. A team can have access to selected surveys/responses. You choose which team a user belongs to.
Secure storage of data
All data is stored in France.
Data encryption
Data is encrypted with Transport Layer Security (TLS level 1.3) during transfer between the survey and the cloud provider.
Skyra encrypts data in transit with AES-XTS 256 bits.
Skyra uses oauth2-based login via third party (e.g. Google Workspace) or email-based "Magic Link" login flow. Passwords are not stored at Skyra.
Universal design
WCAG 2.1 is supported in the actual survey displayed on the customer's website.
