April is in the bag and with it comes a lot of improvements we know have been requested. Read on to see whats new!
1.0 Recruitment upgrades
1.1 Recruitment card active consent (Highlight)
Now you can require active consent in recruitment cards. We know some of our customers required this in order to use our recruitment feature, and now you can stay on top of terms.
Consent is enabled per recruitment card, because perhaps you already have consent covered in other terms. You can define wording and link to privacy terms you already have.
You can define all texts on the survey card
1.2 Recruitment leads purging
Until now you had to delete the complete responses to remove recruitment leads. From today every customer have a setting for number of days to keep recruitment leads that is used to effectively remove all stale leads.
You will now see a callout telling you how many expired leads you have according to your set number of days to keep.
Then you can effectively purge them with a single click.
Remember to also set the number of days that best suits you under Settings
We will also be automating this deletion process very soon, but we want everyone to have a chance to get accustomed to the notion of leads being removed when the threshold is reached.
Note that you will also be able to set a default terms url globally, so if you have multiple surveys with recruitment they can all use one default url for your privacy terms.
1.3 Recruitment leads dashboard filtering
Previously you could only filter the recruitment leads by task and completion. We have added support for all filtering types for the leads list. Filter by segment, date period and device type.
We also show which segments a lead belong to in the list.
2.0 Date filtering
You can now filter all data by date periods. We are still exploring how to better support the real need of “just show me what I should see”. This is small change on the outside, but one that is both important and quite large on the backend of things.
Every view supports date filtering, so if you set Q2 because that is the current quarter you’ll always just see the relevant data in every view.
We are actively listening for feedback on your needs when it comes to time based filtering. One planned feature is to set a default time span for your account that will be used by default. We know a lot of you report data based on fixed periods like monthly, quarterly. Please reach out and describe your needs and we’ll take note!
You can filter on pre-defined ranges. Custom ranges will come at a later stage.
Task list got a new set of score cards on top so you can easily read the aggregates for the applied filter.
3.0 Smaller changes
3.1 Edit and delete segments
You can now edit or delete segments. Previously the way to “fix” a typo would be to override the naming in a survey but now you can keep a cleaner house.
Click the more button. Note that you can’t delete segments that are in use because that would mess up your reporting in the future.
3.2 More infrastructure upgrades
While not something you should notice directly we have also upgraded our database and continued the revamp of its infrastructure. We anticipate certain pages should be more performant due to some changes but we await the final verdict on that.
3.3 Revamped survey stats
The somewhat hidden page under Survey → Stats have received a fair upgrade.
Key metrics chart is both more readable and supports date filtering. It also adapts to the range you selected, so if you look at 2023 as a whole you’ll get stats per month.
The drop off funnel graph have been replaced with a easier to read table.
Skyra have always strived to ship early when something is considered to increase the value of Skyra, and this is an example of a component we will be improving further. You an perhaps notice a bug in the following screenshot that we probably will knowingly ship 😉
3.4 Dashboard tweaks
The demand card is now clickable anywhere, and its been made clearer that it is in fact clickable.
The URLs card now have clickable URLs to take you to that page on your site.
3.5 Opt in/out of receiving these monthly updates
Go to your profile to decide for yourself if you want to receive these emails in the future.
While you’re at it, update your name if its not set 🙂
3.6 Exploring a new explore feature
This is an explorative feature to explore responses for a single card in a survey.
Disclaimer: It will only work for multi select cards for now, and it probably has bugs!
From the survey editor you can click the three dots on a card and ✨Explore
This will open up a view for just this card. Right now this is the only way to actually explore all the distribution in a multi select card, which is the motivation for actually shipping this at this early stage.
