What's New?
You get a survey report, you get a survey report and you get a survey report!
1.0 Survey report
It used to be surprisingly hard to “just read survey results” in Skyra – we know. But no more! Now you get a clear and crisp report with just the right amount of details to quickly see the results of a survey.
Every card in your survey will get a section as you scroll down, where you see a relevant representation of all the responses. Lets look at the different types.
1.1 Input card
| At first you are met with the 8 latest responses, maybe you don’t have more responses and this is all you need. Most likely you want to explore further and you click |
This opens a dialog where you can read through responses, search, filter by label and apply labels to responses. For more details you can open the full response in the sidebar.
Use a
In the future we will add redacting right into this list, and maybe more filter options.
We did spend quite a bit of time on making pagination awesome here, so creds to Alexander for stressing the details on that.

1.2 Segment and Multi select cards
Quickly glance the distribution of responses.
We have aimed at making each of these sections uniquely good at representing their data type and also making them concise and neat for screenshotting and using directly in presentations and on team chat.
In the future we will absolutely add a “Download as PNG” too!
1.3 Completion card
The KPI to rule all KPIs with all the numbers you need to verify.
And if you don’t understand the color thresholds, no worries, just hover the question mark
1.4 Likert card
We hope this one is quite self-explanatory, no?
One fun fact is that the hardest part of this section was placing that floating indicator for the average mathematically correctly to the pixel – and it was surprisingly hard!
1.5 Top task card and recruitment card
These are still in the works as the use case – although not always perfect – can already be covered in the Top tasks and Recruitment menu.
2.0 Design revamp – or Tor makes his mark!
Tor have really gelled well into the team and finally he leaves a big mark on the overall dashboard you all use. There are too many small things to mention but the highlights are very visible everywhere:
2.1 New color theme
The biggest visual change comes from a new color theme.
As you can see we’ve moved closer to our green brand color, and theres a far better balance between colors. We’re not done here, we are very much still tweaking every usage everywhere, but we are in favour of iterative work.
One thing we love ourselves is a real face lift to the label colors! So much more vibrant and easy on the eye ❤️

Another big one is much smaller font sizes and an overall much more condensed experience. Reducing sizes, rethinking spacing and alignments, lead to much higher information density and visual clutter – all great things for a work tool.
3.0 Survey edit
We took the revamp as an opportunity to also jump start a new round of efficiency iterations on the survey editor. This is very much an ongoing effort and we expect to delve into deeper detail on each card type over time, but we think we have great simplified most use cases:
Reducing sizes, increasing click areas and just making this list more compact and cohesive.
Diving into card edit the basic card is now very much “to the point”:
You get just the relevant content and the other more technical choices are hidden under More card options
Clicking Preview survey
will now show the survey in the same window as the survey edit. This makes is easier to make cross references between the setup and the look of the survey. You can’t trigger a preview of each card indapentantely (yet), but you can click through the whole survey inside the setup view.
For a more content rich card, like task card we’ve also streamlined a lot:
All content readily editable. Everything else hidden away.
Some card types are not streamlined yet, like segment cards, but expect similar upgrades to come soon.
And what about the old Details
+ Settings
, well they have also been streamlined and grouped under a new singular Settings
Notably we’ve also hidden almost every help text behind tooltips, because most users are not first time users
We really hope these changes makes your day better too!
Whats next?
Our two main short term focuses are to continue evolving survey report + edit and to finalise our Smart script
feature.
We plan to offer visualisation customisation on report sections. First one will probably be a donut chart instead of bars
Task card section in survey reports is work in progress, but we have this working sketch for an idea about how it might turn out
Smart script
will let you install Skyra once on your website and then control multiple surveys and their priority from Skyra without ever updating your website again. Customers of Skyra often want to run multiple surveys of different types at the same time and theSmart script
will use an algorithm to decide for every visitor exactly which – if any – survey they should see at any point in time. This will make both simple and advanced usage of Skyra far easier on your endWe are also exploring a integration to
PowerBI
with one of our clients. The aim is to make data about your Top Task List available in your organisations PowerBI dashboard.
