Install Skyra with Google Tag Manager

This article explains how to add the Javascript as a tag in Google Tag Manager

In order to publish surveys, a Javascript must be installed on your website. To do this, the script can be added as a tag in Google Tag Manager.

Summary

  • Log in to Google Tag Manager

  • Create a new tag and copy your Skyra script

  • Add a trigger

  • Save the created tag

  • Submit and publish

First you need to have the Javascript available


As a customer, you have a unique script that you can find in your Skyra account. You will need this script to complete the installation.

Create a new tag


  • Log in to your account in Google Tag Manager

  • Go to Tags and press New

  • Give it the name "Skyra"

  • Click Tag Configuration and select Custom HTML as tag type

  • Copy and paste your Skyra script

Add a trigger


  • Go to Triggering

  • Select All Pages (page view) to allow Skyra surveys on your entire website.

  • Press Save

Even if the trigger is set to All pages, you can control directly from Skyra which pages a survey should be shown or hidden on.

Publish the Skyra tag


  • Press Submit

  • Select Publish in the next step

You can also preview and debug your changes before you submit and publish in Google Tag Manager.
