We assume that the survey is installed correctly on your website. If the survey does not appear on your website, try the following troubleshooting.
Set the survey status to Published
In order for the survey to appear on the website, the status must be set to Published. If not, it will not be displayed, even if the survey script is correctly installed on the website.
Explanation of survey status
Status | Explanation |
Draft | The survey is "off" and can only be previewed in Skyra. |
Published | The survey is "on" and will appear on the website. |
Archived | The survey is "off", cannot be previewed and will not appear on the website. |
Use incognito window (or another browser)
To avoid potential cookies, open the website (with the survey installed) in incognito mode. You can also try a different browser.
Why do this?
Once you have responded to the survey, you will receive a cookie that prevents you from viewing it again, according to the setting Min time for retake.
With Min time for retake enabled, the survey will wait before it is shown again to the same user. If you have already answered the survey, it will not appear until the minimum time has expired.
Use incognito window to avoid the cookie that can prevent the survey from being shown again
Use a different Wi-Fi network
If you are using the setting Blocked IP addresses, you need to switch to another network to view the survey (including preview).
Why do this?
This setting prevents everyone in the office from seeing the survey while using your website.
You can use a different Wi-Fi network or set up a mobile hotspot.
You can check if your account uses this setting here: Settings > Blocked IP addresses.
